The NENANA VALLEY RV PARK & CAMP GROUND Come visit us in Nenana (NE NAH'NA). In Athabascan this means "Place to camp between two rivers". There are many things to see and do. The Tanana River is used for transportation. On one side of the river there are fish wheels in operation. If you would like to get on the river, ask about the river boat excursions and fishing trips. Near the river is the famous Ice Classic Tower. Most things are within walking distance. Visit St. Mark's Episcopal church, stop by the Visitor Center, then walk on to see the Alaska RR Museum. Nenana has a variety of local services. Local Native handicrafts can be purchased in the gift shops. There is a general store, auto repair shop, post office, medical services, and much more. All of this is within walking distance of the park.
