Traveling in Alaska? Get off the beaten track and come to the Ruth Riggs Public Library. We have the largest paperback exchange in the Interior.

Visitors are offered a seat and a kindly, "How do you do?" by librarian Ruth Riggs- Madsen. An Old-Timer, she will offer tidbits of Alaskana to the "cheechako" visitor. A cozy place to sit, browse and read.

Ruth Riggs library is a member of the Alaska Library Association and is a sizable bush library. Many hard-back volumes, blind and physically handicapped services and videos too!

Located at 8.5 mile Jack Warren Road in Delta Junction, Alaska, near Clearwater State Campgrounds. The end of the Alaska Highway is just the beginning of adventure at the Ruth Riggs Public Library. Open Wednesdays and Saturdays.
